We had another ultrasound at 32 weeks and the doctor said you look great. She said you are measuring about a week behind, but then she looked over me and your dad and added, "But y'all are little people so you may just have a tiny baby." Sorry kid, but you got "little people" genes. Although, all the kicking you're doing in there certainly doesn't feel like. It feels like your legs are 2 feet long already.
You move A LOT! I think people think I'm just exaggerating when I say that but you seriously move all. day. long. I really feel like it is above and way beyond normal for the average baby. I've never heard anyone claiming their baby moves this much. Thank goodness you sleep at night though.

I can't believe his confidence, and I really can't believe the lack of mine. You will learn, well I hope you do anyway, that your mother is an incredibly confident woman. So to feel so uneasy about giving birth and raising a child just makes me feel completely unlike myself.
I don't want you to think for a second that I was wanting to back out of this or that I was even worried that I couldn't do it. I know I can. I just really concentrate on how you are about to totally rock our world. How our lives will never again be the same. How I will be worried about you and each of your siblings for the rest.of.my.life. IT'S A BIG DEAL!
And trust me. An incredible amount of research has gone into this very big deal. Into you. How we will bring you into the world, how we will take care of you, etc. We've hired a doula, taken birthing classes, read book after book after book.
More than anything I just want you to know that we wanted you so bad and took the task very seriously. And I want you to know how cool we were before we got old and mean...
