The BIG baby shower

We had a big baby shower on Saturday to get ready for your upcoming arrival.

We're only about 10 weeks out. I can't believe it!

28 weeks

We stayed up all night on Friday baking bread for all the hosts. Your dad was a huge help. I couldn't help but think about what a great example he is going to be to you. I tell him over and over how thankful I am that he is willing to do stuff with me like baking bread when most men would rather be reclining while watching the game. I hope you remember to do little (yet big) things like this for your wife one day.

We got so many presents...it was very overwhelming. Your aunts did a wonderful job of decorating and everything was just perfect.

Then, we went home and I let your dad open everything so we could do all the sorting, cleaning and organizing. We also put together your crib that night. 

It's was raining and somewhat stormy outside and I couldn't help but think how comfortable and safe your nursery felt. I just wanted to stay in there. 

I found myself impatiently waiting to get back in there Sunday afternoon to do some more organizing. I hope you like your nursery as much as I do ;)
