Half a year old!

You turned half a year old yesterday.
Where have the past 6 months gone?!



 

 

And what happened to my little baby boy?!

 

You all of a sudden seem so grown up to me.

Your mannerisms have changed so much.

And you are so much more aware of your surroundings.

You are 16 lbs.

 

We decided to blow dry your hair.

 

You are a very happy baby, especially in the morning.

You are always smiling when we go to get you out of your crib.

We bring you downstairs and put you in your walker

that you love in the morning but hate in the evening. Very peculiar.

 

 

The only time you fuss is when you're really tired

(and you really know how to throw a fit) or when you are hungry.

You still don't sleep through the night, but you usually only wake up once.

I feed you and you go right back to sleep.

 

 

You went back to Aunt Maureen's last Thursday.

She is really enjoying having you and always says that you are a great baby.

We are really glad that you get to spend so much time with your cousins Jaxson & Bree. 

 

You are still in 0-3 month pants (sorry kid but you may have short legs),

but you have moved up to 3-6 month onesies/pajamas.

You are also still wearing the smallest shoes but are quickly growing out of them.

Mommy & Daddy went to Nereids Ball 2014.

 You only say "mamamamama,"
but on Valentine's Day you made the "ba" sound
and you have done it only a couple times since.

 

You hold your own bottle.

This is something that I didn't know until the sitter told me.

You're such a big boy!

 

 

You love listening to your Daddy play the guitar.

And we think it's funny how you watch his hand that holds the notes

instead of watching the hand that strums.

I think you are very attracted to music in general.

You also love it when I sing to you.

 

 

You are not crawling yet, but we know you are getting close.

You roll ALL over the place. And move like the hand on a clock.

You think if you kick your legs hard enough it will make you move,

and it is so funny to watch.

You are also trying very hard to get your knees under your body.

 

You still don't have any teeth. But you drool ALL the time.

You are still enjoying food very much.

And we are enjoying you!
