7 months and 2 weeks

Well, Porter, mommy is a little late
posting about your 7-month milestones.

We have been soooo busy!

You did get to experience your first Mardi Gras.
And, obviously, you loved it :)

Aunt Amanda went to NYC and brought you back a T-shirt.

You had some cradle cap.
And mommy had fun with baby oil.

On March 16, we noticed you have two little teeth on the bottom.
You have been teething like crazy
and sometimes you get very fussy in the evenings.
Overall though, I think you are handling it very well.
You seem to be a very strong little person.

Your Great Uncle Ken passed away unexpectedly
so we went up to Jackson and spent lots of time with family.

You are mastering the art of putting your foot in your mouth.
Very talented!

You're making new sounds every day.
You are now making the dada sound
but only when daddy isn't around.
He tries to get you to say it all the time, and I hope I'm there
when you do because I know he will just light up!
Today is his 31st birthday and we will be doing lots of celebrating.

You get to hang out with this beauty every day.
Your Aunt Maureen loves having you,
and she takes very good care of you.

Grandad watched you one day while we went for a run,
and this is what we came home to.
I guess he wore you out ;)

You still love bath time.
But right after when we are getting you ready for bed
you throw a royal fit.
You are very demanding when it comes to bed time.
You know when it's time, you eat and go straight to sleep.
You are sleeping well through the night now.
Every now and then you wake up around 3 or 4 a.m.,
but you usually go right back to sleep.
It's wonderful!

It has been awesome watching you
grow and learnthese past 7 months.
We love you, Porter!
